Mental Health Awareness Month 2025

Illustration that says "Mental Health Awareness Month."

Observed every year in May, Mental Health Awareness Month is an important opportunity to recognize the role that mental health plays in our communities. This year, the Cambridge Public Health Department, the Community Safety Department, and the Cambridge Public Library are sponsoring events and trainings throughout May to support people and foster awareness of mental health issues and resources.

Being part of a community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. People thrive when they have strong connections with others. Communities can provide a sense of belonging, safety, and support in hard times, helping individuals feel seen and heard. The City of Cambridge and community partners are actively promoting Mental Health Awareness Month activities to remind residents that mental health matters and support is available.
