Firehook of Virginia Company Issues an Allergy Alert on Undeclared Sesame in Classic Sea Salt Crackers

The FDA recently announced that the company, Firehook of Virginia, is recalling one lot of Firehook brand Classic Sea Salt Organic Crackers. This is because they may contain undeclared sesame. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The FDA notes that, “No illnesses have been reported to date (June 4, 2025) in connection with this problem.”

The crackers were sold at retail and grocery stores in Massachusetts. You can view the other affected states at the FDA’s website.

The Firehook artisan baked Classic Sea Salt Crackers 8oz come in a clear package with a Best By Date of 09/29/25, and a UPC code 8 99055 00063 5.
