To keep the community updated on public health developments, the Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD) will provide regular updates on its website and in a dedicated space in the city’s daily email. Look for a recap of important public health information every other week.
Extreme Heat
With hot summer weather here, it’s a good time to visit the City of Cambridge’s Extreme Heat page. Learn how to prepare and cool down for hot weather. The City also wants residents to take the Cambridge Extreme Heat Survey. Your answers will help the City plan for extreme heat. The survey’s deadline is June 18.

Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites
A limited number of SkinnyDipped® Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites are being voluntarily recalled due to the possible presence of undeclared peanut allergen. The recalled products were sold nationwide and some products were also provided as free samples to consumers. Learn more on the FDA’s website.
Superfood Capsules
Total Nutrition Inc. of Deer Park, NY is voluntarily recalling TNVitamins Ultra Potent Complete Green Superfood and Doctor’s Pride Complete Green Superfood Ultra Potent Moringa Capsules, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled product was sold nationally online including Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Target, and the company’s own websites. Learn more on the FDA’s website.

SKS Copack of Cerritos, CA is recalling various specialty beverages, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled products were distributed in multiple states including Massachusetts through cafés, restaurants, and direct delivery. Learn more on the FDA’s website.
