Narcan Distribution

You can get free Narcan and fentanyl test strips from the Cambridge Public Health Department on Tuesday, May 23 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Carl Barron Plaza (corner of Western Ave and Massachusetts Ave) in Central Square. Narcan is a nasal spray medicine that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose. Fentanyl test strips detect the presence of the powerful opioid fentanyl in street drugs and are used to reduce the risk of overdose. Other free harm reduction resources will also be given out.
