October 27, 2021

Students, families, and the community are invited to get their free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine or booster shot on Wednesday, Nov. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the King Open School located at 850 Cambridge Street.
Flu vaccine, including FluMist and high-dose vaccine, will also be offered.
Nurses will be available to speak with anyone who has COVID-19 or flu vaccine questions.
Who can get the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine:
  • Pending CDC approval of the pediatric vaccine (expected in early November), children age 5–11 will be able to receive their first pediatric vaccine dose on Nov. 10 and their second dose on Dec. 1.
  • Children age 12 and older will be able to receive their first or second Pfizer dose at either clinic.
  • Adults age 18 and older can receive their first, second, or booster dose (if eligible) at either clinic. The Pfizer booster dose will be available to eligible people who received the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccine. If you have your COVID-19 vaccine card, please bring it with you.
To make an appointment for a COVID-19 or flu vaccine, register here. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged.
Important Reminder for Families and Teens: All children age 15 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Older teens (age 16–17) can come by themselves to the clinics, but will need a signed consent form from their parent or guardian if they do not have an appointment.
No ID, Social Security Number, or health insurance is needed for the free vaccines. However, if you have a health insurance card, please bring it with you.
The vaccination clinics are hosted by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Health Department and the Cambridge Public Schools.
