The Cambridge Public Health Department has scheduled an additional flu clinic for Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the Windsor Street Health Center, 2nd floor, 119 Windsor St.
“We have plenty of flu vaccine available,” said Louise Rice, RN, the department’s Director of Public Health Nursing. “We encourage anyone who would like a free flu shot to come to one of remaining flu clinics.”
Anyone age 9 or older can receive a free flu shotat the health department's flu clinics. While there is no charge to the public for flu shots, seniors are encouraged to bring their Medicare health insurance cards with them to the clinics. The Health Department is able to bill Medicare and Medicare HMOs, which helps offset program costs.
