Do you want to show others how to save money at the store and help people buy healthy foods? Become a trained “Cooking Matters at the Store” facilitator to lead grocery store tours for your clients, colleagues, or community. Learn to teach the following skills:
The training will take place on Monday, April 8 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at 119 Windsor Street, 2nd Floor. Space is limited to 15 people.
Buying fruits and vegetables on a budget
Comparing unit prices to find bargains
Reading and comparing food labels
Identifying whole grains
Sticking to a budget!
